Recently, Blockchain Federation Founder Eddy Wagenaar was asked to perform a keynote speech on ‘Hybrid Blockchains’ at Digital Festival 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
Afterwards Mr Wagenaar starred in a brief interview commenting on changes expected in the future:
Through talks, workshops, debates and performance, the Festival created a space in the heart of Europe where innovators and policymakers came together to explore new technology and be inspired by digital innovations.
The inaugural edition in 2016 saw over 1,000 tech experts, Meetup groups, industry leaders and policymakers exchange ideas, forge relationships and drive innovation. The Digital Festival 2017 was built on this success, with more than 1,200 delegates joining over 90 speakers for an inspiring day of talks, workshops and demos about the digital and tech worlds.
This edition triggered many executive decision makers and politicians to deliver keynote speeches, including the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister, European Commissioners, several Members of European Parliament, Policy and Programme Leads of the European Commission, Government of Estonia, Paris City Council, BNP Paribas, ING, Accenture, Microsoft, and many others. Even Facebook was represented.
